Our clients include business-to-business companies that focus on the enterprise, e-business and wireless markets, as well as businesses that target vertical industries including finance, energy, telecommunications and consumer electronics. Our widely praised approach to media relations does more than build brand awarenessit builds understanding, buy-in and loyalty among the audiences that determine our clients success.
Antennas name and logo are symbolic of our core professional philosophy: An antenna can either receive or transmit informationAntenna Group skillfully does both. We know that effective public relations is a balance between listening to the market and contributing to the discussion with well-crafted, strategically placed messages.
Antenna partners closely with each of our clients to provide strategic PR support that helps them achieve their business and marketing goals. We listen carefully to our clients, set measurable objectives, and then try to exceed them, putting ourselves on the line each day to achieve tangible results. That means we do more than just help develop competitive positioning and craft great messages. We directly support our clients business objectivesand deliver a strong return on their investmentby creatively using our knowledge of the media to provide "air cover" for the sales force. Our goal is to create receptive market environments for our clients by means of third-party attention and enthusiasm in media, analyst and influencer networks, and word-of-mouth buzz that will open doors to potential customers, partners, investors, and alliances.

Best Practices
Antenna is highly regarded by the media for our informed, substantive and intelligent approach. Each media contact is treated with respect in order to build strong, lasting relationships. Antenna likes to partner with clients who understand marketing and the key, cost-effective support role that PR fulfills within a smart marketing program.
Integrity, innovation and the highest standards mark our professional performance in media relations, client partnering and employment practices. Antenna Group was named "The Hot PR Agency of 2000" in the San Francisco Business Times Hot Dot Awards.
Leadership
Melody Kean Haller, a former journalist and widely respected PR professional, founded Antenna Group in March 1996, and serves as president. Melody was co-founder and former president of Niehaus Ryan Haller Public Relations (now Niehaus Ryan Wong), where she established one of the first PR practices focused exclusively on Internet companies. Through her PR work and her salon dinners (which bring together top-tier journalists and analysts, and Antenna client CEOs), Melody has earned a reputation as an industry visionary. Melody, and vice president/principal Darcy Provo, along with several senior staff members, have decades of marketing communications and public relations experience in nearly every high-tech, Internet and consumer category. A company culture that is highly respectful of each individual has contributed to building and retaining an experienced, skilled and committed team.
Resources
Antennas practice methodology is heavily research-based, which in our view is the only way to uphold our professional integrity and do our jobs well. We use the best technology and PR resources available, making smart use of services such as Media Map, Press Access, Business Wire, PR Newswire, Catchpole and Edcals.com. Supervised by our dedicated in-house media analyst, Antenna staff constantly expands our own proprietary press and analyst database. We also maintain an extensive library of publications, hold numerous online subscriptions and use research robots to provide us with intelligence on important industry tradeshows, executive conferences, speaking opportunities and awards. The result of our collaborative efforts is a "repeatable methodology" that benefits all of our clients.
Additionally, Antenna has a solid network of alliances with companies that provide additional services, including investor relations, events productions, and brand consulting. We also have a strong track record of working collaboratively with our clients choice of international agencies.
Business Model
Antenna works on an accountable-retainer basis. A specific number of hours is committed and delivered in accord with a pre-paid, minimum monthly fee. For projects that exceed the minimum monthly fee, Antenna Group secures approval from the client before beginning the additional work.
Antenna and its employees share in our clients risk and opportunity by accepting a portion of fees in the form of client equity, when appropriate. Antenna was the first public relations firm to form a sidecar venture fund to enable nearly half the agency to invest in its privately held client companies.
