To apply: Your cover letter written freshly for Antenna is the most important part of your application. Please e-mail your letter and resume (copied into the body of the e-mail) to careers@antennagroup.com. Senior executives review this inbox regularly, whether or not we've currently posted an open position. We respond to all reasonably relevant inquiries. We are growing quickly. If we have an opening and see a fit for you, we definitely will contact you. We prefer in-person interviews.
We do not poach from competitors, though we welcome their staff if they choose to contact us. Antenna rarely accepts applicants via recruiters or executive search firms. While intermediaries are invaluable for some professionals like engineers, the initiative to target where they want to work and the ability to pitch directly are essential qualifications for talented PR candidates.
A few self-selection hints: Your conviction that you can do this work is not credible unless you have enough experience to know what it is. If your experience lies in advertising, sales and marketing, business development or project management but you lack direct experience in PR and journalistic writing skills, we would consider you entry-level. If your writing style resembles ad copy, no matter how experienced you are this is not a fit. If you have small problems with spelling and punctuation, sadly, there's no hope at all.
Our PR positions are: account coordinator, account associate, account executive, senior account executive, account manager, senior account manager, director, vice president and president.
Thanks for your interest in advancing your career in tech PR at Antenna Group.
