Antenna is looking for a Director of Content & Messaging Strategy.


Content Strategy and Management: 

  • Lead strategy development and creation of content and editorial calendars for successful client programs
  • Drive the creative process and encourage teammates to identify fresh approaches to clients’ content programs
  • Spearhead the strategic messaging process for clients — including content audits, stakeholder interviews, competitive messaging analysis, messaging workshops and final messaging framework deliverables.
  • Work with account directors to assign roles and responsibilities for content production.
  • Monitor financial health of account as it relates to the content marketing program and advise on appropriate hour allocation for various content deliverables.
  • Ensure efficient and effective collaboration and coordination with other Antenna divisions (e.g. creative/graphic design team, digital marketing team, web team) on content work. 

Content Development:

  • Serve as the de facto editor-in-chief for the Cleantech & Mobility teams. Perform final edits on and enforce quality standards for all written materials.
  • Design and implement comprehensive and holistic, cross-channel content marketing campaigns utilizing a variety of deliverability methods including byline articles, press releases, website content, case studies, marketing/sales collateral, corporate presentations, investor presentations, email/nurturing campaigns, landing pages, digital ad copy, social media posts, blog posts, infographics, video scripts, case studies, and downloadables such as e-books. 
  • Play an active role throughout different points in the copywriting and copyediting process – from initial content drafts through final content production. 
  • Work closely with junior staff on how to develop compelling written materials and master the art of storytelling.
  • Work with the creative, website and digital marketing teams to develop and implement content solutions to improve the digital user experience, search rankings, traffic, engagement and conversion.
  • Establish KPIs for content deliverables and oversee the analytics to establish baselines and measure content performance against established KPIs.
  • Produce content audits and gap analyses for our clients and their competitors.

Media and Analyst Relations:

  • Collaborate with the media relations team to craft compelling pitches and provide copy editing support to ensure the team is maintaining high quality standards.

Client Relations:

  • Take ultimate responsibility for client satisfaction when it comes to the content creation and editing process; expediently address client concerns and requests; prioritize client retention
  • Primarily liaise with client account teams but also collaborate directly with clients for sourcing thought leadership themes, key information and data to support the development of high-quality content assets
  • Join client calls when related to the content marketing program. 
  • Work with junior staff to refine written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on delivering thoughtful recommendations and attention to detail
  • Hold junior staff accountable for timely reporting and updates to client-facing dashboards.

Ant Management and Mentorship:

  • Work with junior staff to develop and strengthen content skills and understanding of clients’ industries
  • Overtime, the Director of Content & Messaging Strategy is expected to build out and oversee a dedicated content team; coordinate performance reviews and make recommendations to senior management regarding salaries and titles
  • Lead and participate in agency team building activities 

Business Development and Marketing: 

  • Participate in the creation of sample content campaigns in new business proposals.
  • Join new business pitches to present the strategic direction of the proposed content marketing program.
  • Provide copywriting and editing support on new business proposals.
  • Support the creation of internal marketing content and the production of new marketing collateral pieces.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism or related area 

  • Experience working with B2B companies/organizations in energy, sustainability, environment, transportation, circular economy or similar
  • 5+ years of direct content marketing experience or related areas
  • Interest in client subject matter and ability to understand complex technologies and explain them in accessible, compelling terms
  • Ability to think strategically and connect client goals/objectives with integrated marketing and PR program approaches 
  • Self-motivated, proactive and flexible 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong writing, editing and communication skills
