Kristin O’Connell Joins Antenna Group as EVP of Climate & Mobility

Antenna Group, a leading integrated public relations, marketing, and strategic communications agency, announced today it has appointed Kristin O’Connell as Executive Vice President of its Climate and Mobility practice.

For nearly 30 years, Antenna has been the primary resource for world-class brands leading sustainability conversations. Kristin will elevate Antenna’s capabilities to counsel both established and disruptive brands on how strategic communications can protect and grow reputation as the world grapples with the climate crisis’ effect on global markets and ultimately the future of society.

“At a time when every company needs to identify and articulate its sustainability story, operating with a climate mindset to survive and thrive, the impact of smart communications has never been bigger,” O’Connell said. “Leading a team of forty-plus professionals that spend their days mobilizing action to fight climate change on behalf of today’s most consequential brands is the thrill of my career.”

Kristin joins the agency with nearly two decades of experience managing integrated communications strategy, planning, and execution for global brands. Throughout her career she has forged long-term relationships with innovative companies driving the energy transition with diverse stakeholder groups. Before joining Antenna Kristin spent more than a decade at global Next 15 agencies Text100 and Archetype.

Kristin has a proven track record of success advising brands, both established and early stage, on corporate positioning, crisis and issues management, significant financial moments, competitive depositioning, executive visibility, and internal communications. Her experience with multi-national energy companies reinforces Antenna’s ability to support clients at the forefront of the clean energy transition as the industry evolves from innovation to adoption.

“The list of companies Kristin has helped build is extensive, and we’re thrilled to add her expertise to our team,” said Keith Zakheim, Chief Executive Officer at Antenna Group. “Kristin’s strong foundation with global climate and clean energy brands will elevate Antenna’s client-focused work, helping companies transition from a period of research and innovation to a world where companies across the economy adopt sustainable, healthy, equitable solutions.”
