At the beginning of 2021, AYRO, Inc., a designer and manufacturer of light-duty, short-haul, and last-mile delivery electric vehicles (EVs) identified the opportunity to convert one of its existing EVs to a mobile vaccine unit to help address a wide range of COVID-19 vaccine distribution challenges. AYRO partnered with several other commercial EV fleet providers to quickly develop a vehicle prototype to showcase to government and healthcare stakeholders during a 6-week, multi-city Roadshow event series.
Antenna provided a wide range of branding, marketing and communications tools to help make this fast-moving initiative a success. Our team developed the Electric Vaccine Vehicle (EVV) name and logo as well as the landing page content and design within 14 business days — gathering consensus and approval from all partners in a timely manner. We distributed a press release announcing the initiative and the Roadshow, linking to the landing page with information on vehicle specifications, benefits, and use-cases. Our media campaign highlighted the initiative in national technology, business, healthcare and energy publications, as well as local broadcast for each Roadshow event stop. In total we secured 15 radio and broadcast stories, and more than 30 print/online stories about the EVV.
